I have found Simon’s quality of work, efficiency, attentiveness and general attitude to have been excellent throughout. He has represented my interests well, especially when interacting with the many construction disciplines I am not overly familiar with. In terms of budget controls (during the completed project in West Hampstead), Simon also acted as the client’s representative throughout, signing off contractor valuations and paying them directly himself. This was our first significant project and we learned a lot from Simon and avoided many pitfalls. Simon worked at a level of detail that gave clear specification to the build team of what had to be done and thus minimised misinterpretation, error and hence rework.
